Till the nineties, St. Anton was the venue of the famous "Kandahar-Race", a challenging and difficult FIS worldcup race. It startet from the Galzig, later from the Kapall - both are big and beautiful mountains in St. Anton am Arlberg. Our house Kandahar - built by family Erich Scherer - has been labeled by this famous race.
